Fansided: TCU Football: Kenny Hill looks for redemption with Horned Frogs

Kenny Hill‘s long story from Texas A&M starter to humbled TCU backup is almost over. This year the junior, transfer Hill is battling redshirt sophomore Foster Sawyerfor the TCU Horned Frogs starting job. If he takes the job, he has one crazy redemption story on his hands.

Hill started off the 2014 season shredding defenses and leading the Aggies to a 5-0 start. However, a rough, turnover-filled three losses against Mississippi State, Ole Miss and Alabama began to show cracks in Hill’s game. The Aggies lost all three contests and  Hill was suspended two games for a violation of team rules. The on and off the field problems resulted in him losing the job to true freshman Kyle Allen.

Overall, the former Southlake Carroll product did more positive than negative things on the field. In eight starts he threw for 2,649 yards 23 touchdowns and eight interceptions. Although he never quite got on track during the tough schedule. It doesn’t help that he had no help on defense as the Aggies gave up 28.1 points per game. …
