ESPN: When Andy Dalton’s jumper got hot, he had to let world know

CINCINNATI – Andy Dalton was looking for something to get his body moving just before of one of his final spring workouts at his alma mater, TCU.
That was when he saw a machine that when positioned properly, would rebound a shot basketball and toss it back in the direction of the shooter. He figured he had to give the machine a try and see just how well his jumper was falling. After all, within a week the Cincinnati Bengals quarterback would be back around his teammates, and he knew they would be eager to test him on the team’s indoor court.
So Dalton grabbed a basketball and started shooting.
And making.
And not missing.
“I got hot,” Dalton explained this week from his locker, “and I had to let everybody know.” …
