FORT WORTH - TCU opens a four game homestand Tuesday night when it hosts Dallas Baptist at 6:30 p.m. The game will be televised on FSSW+.

TCU NOTABLES
• TCU bounced back from a two-game losing streak with back-to-back wins at Kansas to guarantee the series victory.
• TCU posted a record of 7-4 in its recent stretch that saw it play 10 of 11 road games.
• TCU sits at No. 22 in the latest edition of the RPI.
• The Horned Frogs continue to be one of the most prolific offensive teams in the country, ranking 16th nationally in batting average (.316), 13th in slugging percentage (.496), 11th in on-base percentage (.414) and 12th in scoring (8.3).

• Dallas Baptist enters Tuesday’s game with a two-game winning streak after sweeping Illinois State on the road over the weekend.
• The Patriots have won five of their last six.
• DBU has played five games against the Big 12 this season and is just 1-4 in those contests.
• The Patriots are 2-4 in midweek games this season, including a 0-3 mark away from home.
• Darick Hall is the main offensive threat with 12 of the Patriots 24 home runs on the season.

Cam Warner stretched his hitting streak to 20 games over the weekend. He’s the first Horned Frog since the 2011 season to boast a hit streak of at least 20 games. Brance Rivera hit safely in the first 27 games of the 2011 season.

During the streak, Warner has seen his average rise 65 points to .328. He’s hitting .359 (28-for-78) during the streak.

On the season, Warner has collected 10 multi-hit games and eight multiple-RBI contests. He’s hit safely in 27 of 30 games played.

SURGING
Dane Steinhagen enters Tuesday’s contest carrying an eight-game hitting streak. After a tough start to the season that saw the senior hitting just .216 through the first 14 games, he’s gone on a tear.

In the last 17 games, Steinhagen has seen his average climb 85 points to .301. Over that stretch, he is 23-for-62 (.371) with eight multi-hit games. His RBI in Sunday’s game gave him a career-high 29, surpassing his total of 28 RBIs in 61 games played in 2015.

LEAVING THE YARD
Josh Watson’s home run on Sunday was TCU’s 28th of the year. The Horned Frogs hit just 27 home runs in 2015 and had 27 combined between 2013 and 2014.

The Frogs lead the Big 12 with the 28 home runs and rank 44th nationally. Seven different Horned Frogs have hit a home run this season.Ryan Merrill is the latest Frog to hit his first home run of the season, doing so in Sunday’s game.

Eighteen of the 28 home runs have come with runners on base. TCU has hit a home run in 21 of 30 games this season.
