FWST: Eight-run fifth inning helps TCU overpower Kansas, secure series

LAWRENCE, Kan. – TCU unleashed an 18-hit attack and broke open the game with eight runs in the fifth inning to forge a come-from-behind 14-6 victory over Kansas in Big 12 baseball on Sunday.
The Frogs (24-7, 6-3 Big 12) secured the series. Following its 4-3 loss to Kansas in the series opener, TCU took the last two games by a combined score of 22-6.
TCU hit three home runs Sunday and added seven doubles. …
