GoFrogs: Baker Named Most Outstanding Performer
FORT WORTH — Ronnie Baker was named the Most Outstanding Performer of the 2016 Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays, it was announced Sunday.
During the finals on Saturday, the Bowerman Watch List selection anchored the 4×100-meter relay, bringing his team a gold medal as they clocked in at 39.08.
Baker ran the second leg of the 4×400-meter relay prelim on Friday, recording the fastest qualifying time. The Horned Frogs went on to place third in the finals.
The Louisville, Ky. native also competed in the 100-meter dash invitational. Against a highly competitive field that featured international athletes and four professionals, Baker finished third.
Baker and the Horned Frogs will return to the track on Saturday, April 9 for the Jim Click Shootout in Tucson, Ariz.
