FWST: Rangers’ Chirinos welcomes TCU ex Holaday as another step toward title

SURPRISE, Ariz. – Rangers catcher Robinson Chirinos is ready to welcome his new backup, former TCU catcher Bryan Holaday.
Holaday, who was named the nation’s best catcher his senior season in 2010, is coming home after the Rangers’ traded Bobby Wilson and Myles Jaye to the Tigers on Tuesday evening.
Holaday played at Dallas White High School and North Central Texas College before joining TCU in 2009. …
