DMN: TCU fires basketball coach Trent Johnson; who could be in line to lead the Horned Frogs next?

TCU has fired men’s basketball coach Trent Johnson after four seasons, according to multiple reports Sunday night.
An official announcement is expected Monday.
Johnson was let go after a meeting with athletic director Chris Del Conte, CBS Sports reported. Johnson and Del Conte did not immediately return phone and text messages for confirmation.
“I’m proud of the kids and how they stayed the course,†Johnson told ESPN, confirming the news. …
