NFL.com: Aaron Green looks a longshot to provide fantasy value

Aaron Green has been described as a scatback because, well, he is. In his senior campaign with TCU in 2015, Green piled up 244 rush attempts, more than 1,200 rush yards and 12 total touchdowns. There’s one catch with Green when it comes to this year’s NFL draft though … he wasn’t invited to the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis, despite a great showing at the Senior Bowl. Let’s take a look at his skill-set, what his chances are of making an NFL roster and what kind of impact he could have as a fantasy asset.

» Acceleration/burst combined with elite footwork
» Speed on the outside
» Maintains top speed in and out of cuts
» Pass-catching

On film, Green displays impressive agility and an elite change of direction ability. He’s got arguably some of the best footwork of this year’s draft class and run after run, continues to make defenders overcompensate (or end up on the ground) with ankle-breaking jukes. He can maintain his speed in and out of his cuts which is not an attribute every running back boasts. …
