FORT WORTH - The TCU baseball team continues its homestand Tuesday night when it hosts UT Arlington at 6:30 p.m.

TCU NOTABLES
• TCU bounced back from a Friday night loss to Gonzaga with two dominating victories, outscoring the Zags 26-3.
• TCU’s pitching staff remains tops in the country with their 1.23 ERA.
• TCU’s .332 average is 13th nationally, while the nine triples are tied for first.
• The Horned Frogs have amassed 42 extra base hits this season, ranking 17th nationally with a .509 slugging percentage.
• TCU has hit eight home runs in the first 11 games of the season. The Frogs didn’t collect their eighth home run until game No. 22 on March 24 last year.
• Brain Howard’s three wins are tied for tops in the country.
•  Luken Baker was named the Big 12 Conference Newcomer of the Week after leading the team with a .538 batting average last week.
•  Elliott Barzilli continues to swing a hot bat, ranking ninth nationally with his .512 batting average.
•  Elliott Barzilli and Luken Baker have reached base safely in all 11 games this season.

UT ARLINGTON NOTABLES
• The Mavericks took three of four against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi this past weekend.
• UT Arlington is 2-1 against the Big 12 this season with victories over Oklahoma State and Baylor.
• Quintin Rohrbaugh has raced out of the gates with a .469 average through the first 13 games.
• UT Arlington has been successful in 16 of 19 stolen base attempts, led by five from R.J. Williams.
• Christian Hollie is the top run producer with 16 RBIs in 13 starts this season.
• On the mound, the Mavericks have posted a 3.54 ERA.
• Jacob Moreland and Daniel James are the go-to guys in the bullpen with seven appearances this season.
• Daniel James has both of the Mavericks’ saves.
• Defense has been an Achilles heel for the Mavericks as 22 errors have led to 26 unearned runs for the opposition this season.

SERIES HISTORY
• The Horned Frogs and the Mavericks will be meeting for the 151st time on Tuesday.
• TCU holds an 93-57 edge in the all-time series.
• Tuesday is the first of three meetings between the two teams this season. Two of the three games will have been played in Fort Worth.
• TCU won the series in 2015, 2-1, including the lone meeting at Lupton Stadium.
• Since 2004, the Frogs are 22-6 against UTA.
• TCU and UT Arlington have played every season since 1969.

NEW FACES GALORE
TCU has utilized 16 new faces on the field this season. Seven of them have come in the lineup, while the other nine have appeared on the mound.

Offensively, they have hit .311 with 10 doubles, five triples, five home runs and 48 RBIs. On the mound, the group of nine have a 1.27 ERA with 55 strikeouts in 56 2/3 innings pitched.

THREE TIMES THE FUN
TCU has shown its speed in various ways this season with 17 stolen bases and nine triples. The Frogs are tied for first nationally with the nine triples. Seven different Horned Frogs have tallied a triple this year led by two each from Connor Wanhanen and Josh Watson. The school record for triples is 33 set in 1998 and 2001.

ON A TEAR
Elliott Barzilli leads the league and ranks ninth nationally with his .512 batting average. He’s one of just two Horned Frogs who have reached base safely in all 11 games this season. He’s notched at least one hit in every game and has a team-leading seven multi-hit games.

DEFENSIVE MINDED
Each of the last two seasons have seen the Horned Frogs set a school record in fielding percentage. In the early-going the Frogs have shown that they are on the same pace with just eighth errors in 11 games. That included a stretch of six straight games with no errors.
