Waco Tribune-Herald: Baylor men stomp Horned Frogs for 9th straight time, 86-71

FORT WORTH – With so much riding on the final week of the regular season, No. 19 Baylor couldn’t afford to slip up against last-place TCU.
The Horned Frogs certainly didn’t play like a cellar dwelling team as they moved within two points of the Bears with nine minutes to play.
But the Bears found their long range game just when they needed it as they pulled away for an 86-71 win before 6,364 fans Saturday night at Schollmaier Arena.
TCU (11-18, 2-14) is the only unranked team the Bears will face in their final six games of the regular season. Baylor (21-8, 10-6) hits the road for No. 3 Oklahoma on Tuesday before hosting No. 14 West Virginia next Saturday in the regular season finale. …
