MORGANTOWN, W.VA. – The TCU women squandered a 13-point third-quarter lead and lost to West Virginia 83-72 on Wednesday night.
Two 9-0 scoring runs by the Mountaineers in the final 13 minutes ended a three-game Big 12 winning streak for the Horned Frogs (15-12, 7-9 Big 12).
Zahna Medley led TCU with 23 points on 9-of-15 shooting and drew within 17 points of tying Sandora Irvin’s TCU career scoring mark. …
