Senior Zahna Medley scored 19 points and senior Veja Hamilton had 14 as the TCU women completed a season sweep of Iowa State with a 79-69 victory Saturday at Schollmaier Arena.

TCU (13-11, 5-8 Big 12) shot 55.2 percent in the second half and converted 11 of 12 free throws in the fourth quarter to end a three-game losing streak.

The Horned Frogs, who had just nine turnovers, have won only two of their last eight games, both coming over the Cyclones. TCU won 72-62 at ISU.

Iowa State (12-12, 4-9) trailed 21-10 in the first quarter. But the Cyclones cut the margin to 34-27 at halftime and led 37-36 after a 10-0 run early in the second half. …
