After three straight games against ranked opponents, West Virginia (19-5, 8-3) hosts the Big 12’s bottom squad today when TCU comes to town for a noon game that will air on ESPNU.

The 11-13 Horned Frogs are just 2-9 in conference play and haven’t won a road game against a Big 12 opponent yet.

A welcome break for the Mountaineers, right?

Don’t count on it.

TCU is coming off a win, having knocked off Oklahoma State on Monday, and it’s taking on a Mountaineer team that it played tight on Jan. 4 in Fort Worth, Texas, a 95-87 WVU victory. The last time the Horned Frogs came to Morgantown last January, it took a last-second miracle for the Mountaineers to claim an 86-85 victory in overtime. …
