The two of them will fight it out at the home ground of the Florida Gators to achieve early supremacy in the tournament. The gators have had a completely dominant run in this series for more than a decade now. They are 11–1 SU and 6-4-2 ATS against the Tennessee Volunteers in their last 12 games against each other. However, that single win for the Volunteers came last year when they defeated The Florida Gators 38-28 to bring an end to their 11-game losing run against the Gators.

Baker Mayfield and Lamar Jackson are the two candidates that have emerged as the favorites on the odds early on, who could go on to win the coveted Heisman Trophy.
