Today’s Pigskin: Jerry Hughes misses Bills’ team bus, gets ride from Uber

Buffalo Bills’ linebacker Jerry Hughes missed the team bus for Sunday’s season-opener against the Baltimore Ravens, but he was able to get a lift from Uber, according to Darin Gantt of Pro Football Talk.

“When your team bus don’t wanna wait up for the boys, we use the homie, Uber,” said Hughes in a video he posted to his Instagram page.

Hughes could have taken a later bus to the stadium, but he opted for Uber, instead. It is a good thing Hughes made it to the stadium because he is unquestionably one of the most important players on the Bills’ roster. The 28-year-old, who played his college football at TCU, was originally selected by the Indianapolis Colts with the 31st overall pick in the 2010 NFL Draft.
