FWST: Boykin pleads no contest to misdemeanor charge in San Antonio

The Associated Press

SAN ANTONIO – Former TCU quarterback Trevone Boykin has pleaded no contest to a charge of resisting arrest during a bar brawl that led to his suspension for his final college game at the Alamo Bowl.

Boykin, 22, who signed with Seattle as an undrafted free agent, received one year of deferred adjudication probation that could result in dismissal of the misdemeanor charge if he fulfills all terms of probation. Those include 80 hours of community service and taking alcohol awareness and anger management classes in Seattle, the San Antonio Express News reported.
