Today’sKnuckleball: White Sox OF Jason Coats records first career big league hit
Chicago White Sox outfielder Jason Coats is officially on the board.
While making his eighth big league appearance on Wednesday evening against the Boston Red Sox, Coats blasted a ground-rule double into right field to record the first hit of his major league career. In addition to getting the start in right field on Wednesday, Coats is also batting ninth in the order for manager Robin Ventura.
