FWST: College World Series prediction is dog-gone good for TCU

Omaha, Neb., is famous for steaks, Warren Buffett and the College World Series.

Yes, they take their hardball seriously, so as the CWS gets set to open Saturday, the good folks at the Omaha World-Herald figured out an unconventional, yet purely scientific way, mind you, to predict the eventual champion.

TCU fans will think it’s dog-gone good.

Give the World-Herald staff for creativity. They headed to the Nebraska Humane Society to get a little help from man’s best friend.

And, by the way, the Horned Frogs, fresh of their Super Regionals victory against Texas A&M, begin play in the CWS at 2 p.m. Sunday against Big 12 rival Texas Tech.

If you’re busy, don’t worry. You already know who’s going to win.
