The Washington Post: Josh Doctson remains sidelined with foot injury unrelated to Achilles’ ailment

Rookie wide receiver Josh Doctson missed Wednesday’s practice with a foot injury and will likely remain sidelined until next week, Coach Jay Gruden said.

Meanwhile, cornerback and fellow 2016 draft pick Kendall Fuller took part in limited team repetitions after being held out of such action last week. Fuller, a third-round pick, missed the bulk of his final season at Virginia Tech because of microfracture surgery. He didn’t take part in Washington’s rookie minicamp, but said that he believed he would receive full clearance soon.

Fuller on Wednesday said, “every day I feel stronger,” and said he was encouraged by the progress he is making. …
