Campus Insider: Gary Patterson Weighs In On TCU Quarterback Battle, Naming A Starter

After spring practice, the TCU quarterback battle to see who replaces Trevone Boykin is still up in the air, with Kenny Hill and Foster Sawyer listed as the two possible starters under center.
This is not a ruse by head coach Gary Patterson to confuse future opponents.
“I don’t really like playing games, even though coaches, we keep things close to our vests,†Patterson said during an interview on The Bottom Line on AM 1300 FM The Zone.
Hill sat out the 2015 season after transferring from Texas A&M, where he started the first eight games for the Aggies during the 2014 season. Sawyer saw some time in three games for the Horned Frogs last season, including starting against Oklahoma when Boykin was injured. …
