LAWRENCE, Kan. – Kansas scored two runs in the bottom of the eighth inning for a 4-3 victory and hand No. 9 TCU its second consecutive loss.
It is the third loss in four Big 12 games for TCU (22-7, 4-3 Big 12).
Evan Skoug hit his fourth homer of the season with two outs in the first inning, but Joe Moroney answered for Kansas in the bottom of the inning his home run of the season.
Three walks loaded the bases for TCU in the fourth with one out. Connor Wanhanen was hit by a pitch to score the go-ahead run, but Kansas starter Ben Krauth got back-to-back strikeouts to limited the damage. …
