2015 recap:Â The TCU run game was anchored by two seniors in 2015 — tailback Aaron Green and quarterback Trevone Boykin. Green really was a workhorse that kept TCU’s offense balanced and moving down the field. He received 244 carries last season, which resulted in 1,272 yards — an average of 5.2 yards per carry — and 11 touchdowns on the ground. Green was complimented by two sophomores and a freshman, but only Kyle Hicks got more than 20 percent of Green’s total carries. Hicks also added three touchdowns while fellow tailbacks Trevorris Johnson and Shaun Nixon were unable to do so.
