GoFrogs: TCU Announces Baseball TV Slate

FORT WORTH – The Horned Frogs are slated to have 34 games televised this season. Sixteen of the 34 televised games will be home contests, while 18 of TCU’s 25 road contests will also be televised.

The entire Shriner’s College Classic (Feb. 26-28) will be televised by MLB Network. The TV slate also features three nationally televised games on FOX Sports 1 (March 26 at Texas, April 15 vs. Oklahoma and April 29 vs. Texas Tech) and two on ESPNU (April 2 at Wichita State and April 17 vs. Oklahoma). Additionally, seven more contests will be available on ESPN3. Those contests include March 24-25 at Texas (also on the Longhorn Network), April 1 and April 3 at Wichita State and the entire series at Kansas (April 8-10). The remaining 19 games will be televised on FSSW, FSSW+ or FCS.

TCU’s first televised game comes on Feb. 23 when the Horned Frogs host Arkansas-Pine Bluff at 6:30 p.m. That game will be televised on FSSW+. A March 1 meeting with UT Rio Grande Valley is slated to air on FOX College Sports, while the series opener against Gonzaga on March 4 will be televised by FSSW+. The series finale against USC on March 13 will air on FSSW and the March 22 contest against Abilene Christian will be seen on FSSW+.

A pair of midweek contests April 5 vs. UT Arlington and April 6 vs. ULM will be televised on FSSW+ as will the April 12 game against Dallas Baptist.

Sandwiched between a pair of nationally televised games, the second game of the Oklahoma series on April 16 will be shown on FSSW+.

Fans unable to make the journey to Stillwater for the three-game series against Oklahoma State are in luck as all three contests will be televised on the FOX family of networks. Games 1 and 3 will be shown on FOX College Sports with Game 2 slated for FSSW+.

Game 2 of the Texas Tech series on April 30 will be televised on FSSW+ as will the May 10 contest against Stephen F. Austin. Two of the three games at Baylor (May 13 and May 15) will be shown on FSSW+, while Game 2 on May 14 will be seen on FSSW.

Rounding out TCU’s television slate in the regular season will be the final two games of the Kansas State series May 20-21. Game 2 will be on FSSW+, while the regular-season finale will be on FSSW.

For the fourth straight year, all 11 Big 12 Tournament contests leading up to championship game on May 29 will be televised on FOX College Sports (FCS) with the finale set for 1 p.m. (CT) on FOX Sports Regional Networks (FSN).
